RRB NTPC Admit Card 2020: New Exam Date Out for CBT

RRB NTPC admit card 2020 for first stage CBT will be released in the mid week of December. The admit card will be released four days before the exam. The admit card link will be updated on this page as soon as it is released by RRBs. RRB NTPC 2020 first stage CBT will be conducted from December 28 to the last week of March 2021. 

RRB NTPC admit card 2020 will be available on the regional websites of 21 RRBs. Before the release of the admit card, RRBs will announce exam date, exam city and mock test. To download RRB NTPC admit card, candidates need to enter user ID (registration number) and password (date of birth). RRB NTPC admit card will have personal details of candidates and exam related information. Candidates will not receive the hard copy of the admit card. The CBTs of RRB NTPC will be conducted in 15 languages such as Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Marathi, Manipuri, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The steps to download the admit card of RRB NTPC are explained below:

  • Visit the official websites of respective RRBs
  • Click the admit card download link on the home page 
  • Candidates need to enter the user ID (registration number) and password (date of birth)
  • The admit card will appear on the screen
  • Download the admit card and take its printout.

  1. Central Railway (CR) – Mumbai

  5. North Central Railway (NCR) – Allahabad
  6. North Eastern Railway (NER) – Gorakhpur

There are four types of group level jobs. They are Group A and Group B (Gazetted) and Group C and D (Non-gazetted).

Each of these groups will have both technical and non-technical cadre.

1. Group A Posts Recruitment:UPSC does the recruitment for this category by

conducting a written exam, interview/group discussion as necessary.

Exams conducted for this category : Civil Service Exam, Engineering Service Exam, and Combined Medical Service Examination.

2. Group B Posts Recruitment:There is no direct recruitment for Group B posts. Group C employees are promoted as Group B officers.

3. Group C Posts Recruitment:The Group C posts both technical and non technical recruitment are conducted by 19 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) across all zones in Indian Railways.

Non Technical Posts: Some of the Non-Technical posts are Assistant Station Masters, Trains Clerks, Clerks, Ticket Collectors, Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice and others.

Technical Posts: Technical engineers in Signal, Telecommunication, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and others.

4. Group D Posts Recruitment:The Group D recruitment is done by Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) at the divisional level. Some of posts in this group are the gunman, Safaiwala, Trackman, peon, tracker and others.

Important points related to RRB NTPC admit card 2020

  •  Candidates will be informed through SMS and email regarding the uploading of RRB NTPC admit card.  
  •  The admit card will not be sent to candidates by post.  
  • Candidates should read the instructions carefully while downloading the admit card. 
  • SC/ST candidates who have opted for free rail travel facility, the admit card will mention details about free travel authority.
  •  Such candidates will be allowed to book tickets on the submission of a self-attested photocopy of the e-admit card.
  •  They need to carry the original SC/ST certificate and one identity proof while undertaking the journey. 
  •  Candidates must bring one colour photograph (size 35 mm x 45 mm) as uploaded during the registration process. 
  • Candidates should leave blank spaces provided in the downloaded admit card for writing self-declaration paragraph, signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI). 
  • Candidates need to write the paragraph of self-declaration, sign and affix LTI at the venue in the presence of the invigilator and handover the same to the invigilator before the exam concludes.
